Curry Ford West is 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates based on the involvement of a completely volunteer board. Their efforts are supported by their one full-time paid staff member, the Executive Director. Generally, Board Presidents serve one year terms and new Executive Boards are voted in alongside them.
The Board then meets monthly on the third Monday from 6-7pm, with the exception of two bi-annual Board Retreats where the group maps out the strategy and reviews the Mission/Vision.
The three Committees (
Economic Vitality, Organization, and Design/Promotion) are made up of both Board Members and other volunteers from around the community who want to help share the load. These Committees also meet monthly, but on their own rotations. Click on an event below to learn more.
